Farmville Crop Whisperer How To
Admittedly, World of Warcraft is a simple game: you kill things, you complete quests, you get gold. However, it’s this mindset that holds the majority of players back from making all the gold that they ever need. These people view the Auction House as a place simply to sell green and blue goods found while questing, and to turn a tidy profit.
How mistaken they are.
I am going to teach you how easy it is to make gold with the Auction House, through some logic and techniques that have worked in the past for me, and allowed me to buy all my wants with ease.
1. Many people feel that Auctioneer is necessary to make money from the Auction House. If you are interested, download the free addon Auctioneer. Just do a quick search on the internet for it. However, I don’t recommend it.
Note: As a result of my use of an Apple Computer, I never used Auctioneer, and I actually caution against it. You are entrusting your knowledge of the market to data that could potentially be skewed. However, feel free to follow it. My guide does not mention it.
2. First, if you are just starting out with this game, but eager to make money, this guide will come into play a tad later – around level 30, once you have a sizable amount of gold in your coffers. So, simply play the game as it is meant to play, don’t concern yourself with money, have fun. Of course, pop by the AH every now and then, if you want.
3. So, you’re level 30. If you haven’t been randomly spending money, you should have anywhere between 5 gold to 100 gold, although most people will fall in the 10 g – 30 g range. Great! That’s an excellent place to start.
4. Now, this method follows a simple mantra – buy low, sell high. Patience is the most important virtue, and is absolutely necessary to make you gold. Unlike the real world stock market, very few factors can affect prices, apart from the players want of an item, and how much they will pay to get it. Pricing for any good item (blue / purple) will vary tremendously, because often, other people don’t have a reference as to what the regular price is. This is what we will figure out.
5. Every time that you are in a major city, pop by the Auction House and search for all blue items, from levels 10-40. Look over the various items that come up, and remember the basic price. Continue doing this as you continue playing the game. No action just quite yet.
6. But then, one day, you see an item listed for half its regular price – put up by some guy who had no idea as to its true value. Snatch it up immediately!
7. Now, you simply wait. Patience is absolutely necessary. Continue playing the game as it is meant to be played, but once again, keep checking the Auction House for the item that you now own. Wait for a time when the same item listed is overpriced, and then put your item up for slightly above the regular price. Now, just wait.
8. There’s a chance it won’t be sold the first time. If it is, great! Continue this process, simply finding good deals, and putting them up again for more gold. Myself, I can often scan through long lists of blue items, snatch up about 3 great deals, sell them in the next two days, and make about 60 gold, while only spending about 8 gold.
9. Of course, there’s the chance that it won’t sell the first time. DO NOT become disheartened. You’ve been watching the market, and you know that you got the item for a cheap price. If you keep watching the market and the item comes up for even cheaper than when you bought it…well, buy that one too! Then, once again, simply wait until your item is the cheapest, or only item of the same items placed. Just, patience.
Here’s one of my stories: I once found an epic item, Boots of Avoidance, while questing, and had a bit of trouble selling it, but once again, got 200 g for it in the end. Now, how does this relate? Well, I knew that I could sell this item for 200 g. So, I kept watching the Auction House for it, and sure enough, it popped up once for 80 g. I put it up on the Auction House for 200 g once again, and it had sold before I even left the major city. Another time, it came up, only 120 g. Same thing! Just knowing the price of this one item allowed me to make 200 more gold!
Just start small, and work your way up to the epics.
A final note: If you aren’t on a PvP server, don’t think that you’re limited to only your faction! Create another low level character simply to scout out good prices on the opposite faction. If you find a good item for a low price for your faction, then, send a whisper to the seller, and ask to arrange a meeting on the neutral AH. Then, you can get your new item and sell it easily on your own Auction House for a profit.
