On facebook, how can I stop seeing those stupid farmville or zoo updates on my page (and on my blackberry)?

I get sick of seeing those updates, but I dont want to delete the friends.

You can block the application. If you go to the app’s page, you can click on “block application”. You can also block app invites from certain friends.
You can also get feed filter http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/firefox/. Its a browser add on that lets you customize what is viewed on your newsfeed. It basically puts back all the control that you used to have before facebook decided to change its layout.
You can choose to not show whatever apps you want or just to show posts from certain apps, it lets you not get posts about who is friends with whom, etc.

It doesn’t show up in my feed OR on Farmville.com under Game Feed. I have to end up going to their profiles to get the goods !

It could be that it’s lagging. Usually posts don’t show up, it shows that u have no neighbors or it stops completely
